Steelworx industrial Group is expanding our team! We are looking for an Engineering Designer with a background in industrial and food processing facilities, and/or structural steel design.

Position Responsibilities:
• Work within our design engineering team to develop equipment, fixtures, and structural components to customer specifications.
• Provide support to manufacturing team as required to ensure project success.
• Interpret customer supplied drawings to create manufacturing and assembly prints.
• Utilize previous experience and knowledge to provide product design based on verbal
conversations or concept sketches with minimal oversight.
Position requirements:
• Proficient in standard CAD design software including
o Solidworks - Mandatory
o Revit
o AutoCAD
o Autodesk Advance Steel
• Knowledge of GD&T as well as AISC detailing standards for creation of fabrication prints
• 3+ years of design experience preferred
• Candidate must be located in the Northwest Arkansas area – remote or visa work is not
available for this position.
We are seeking to fill this designer role for several disciplines. Candidate is not required to have knowledge of all disciplines or software. Summary:
Responsible for estimating projects and other preconstruction duties for the Civil Division. This includes conceptual estimating, negotiated, and competitive bid estimates while collaborating with other Project Managers/Operation teams. This position specializes in estimating, materials, equipment, manpower and other necessary items for Civil projects to include Earthwork, Site Utilities, Storm Drainage, and Site Concrete.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares commercial/industrial estimates per bid request including quantity take-off of self-perform and subcontract items.
Attend Pre-Bid Meetings as well as pre-bid jobsite meetings
Reviews all plans, specifications, and Owner requirements.
Prepares bid proposals, including cost breakdown, clarifications, scope, and exclusions.
Understanding of plans and specifications
Ability to do on screen take off.
Provides valuable engineering ideas, pricing, and documentation.
Understanding of means and methods of all Civil Construction.
Prepare Owner/PM bid manual if required or needed.
Maintain positive client/subcontractor relationships.
Education/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a construction related discipline is desired.
Minimum 1 to 5 years’ experience in the construction industry performing responsibilities equivalent to those listed above.
Working knowledge and comprehension of construction drawings, documents, and specifications, as well as construction management.
Effective negotiation skills.
Computer Skills:
Ability to use on screen take off, to include Plan swift, Blue Beam, and other software’s.
Ability to navigate and use Microsoft suit.
Ability to make mark ups/read construction documents electronically.

Prepare subcontractor list and achieve adequate coverage for each scope of work
Maintain positive client/subcontractor relationships.
Knowledge and understanding of all construction divisions
Education/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a construction related discipline is desired.
Minimum 1 to 5 years’ experience in the construction industry performing responsibilities equivalent to those listed above.
